Gorgeous fabric I must say! thumbsup

Are you tackling the construction of the waistcoat yourself?

If you are, you will need a waistcoat pattern my friend. Then you will have to modify for accuracy.

If you never had experience, I would advise you to have a professional tailor cut and construct
the whole thing.

Hope this helps Smile

Here is one of many patterns that are available out there on the internet:
http://jas-townsend.com/18th-century-waistcoat-pattern-p-417.html (I'm not claiming this is the best one to use. Use your best interpretation as to
what you think will be closer to Jack's) But as I said, modifications will have to be made, so do lots of research, look at tons of photos for reference.

The way the fabric is laying in the picture is fine to cut like that because the pattern will go over it. For the back fabric you have to
do endless searching yourself on many countless sites, unless you know someone who can supply you some, or find something close.
