Wooden sword blade

Post  Mondas42 on Sat Feb 15, 2014 4:03 am

Hi

Does anyone know where I could source a decent wooden sword blade. In the UK it is illegal to walk around in public with a real metal bladed sword unless you are a member of an official re-enactment group and even then only on official outings for the group. I currently have the Disney plastic sword, but someone suggested a wooden blade. However I cannot work in wood that well so making my own would be tricky, so I was wondering if anyone knows where I could get one from?
