I had a custom rubber stamp made for mine. I use the Skin Illustrators Tattoo Classic alcohol-activated makeup as the stamp ink.

I have used the liquid latex to good effect. You can also remove it and use glue to reaffix. Might need some assistance in drawing it on in the first place though depending whether you are left/right handed!!

I had a tattoo done with white and pink ink.  Everyone thinks it's a real brand when they see it.

Do you draw it directly onto the skin, or do you make it up first and then airfix it to your arm?

Oh, never mind. I misread the question. I thought it was about the tattoo. Nah, I haven't tried doing the brand yet, but am interested in how everyone else does it.

Incidentally where did you get your stamp from?

Ironically, from RubberStamps.net! ;-P I ordered the 3"x3" custom stamp mounted on a wood block with a handle. I used a CJS tattoo template that I either found Google searching or someone had posted here in the forums; don't remember which.

Depends how dextrous you are! Laughing
I it appears, am not!  Laughing So made it up off the arm. Made a larger than required latex base, then built it up? You can use thin strips of cotton wool to give you the letter's shape and then build up latex layers over the top? Leave to dry then trimmed to shape. Don't put it on fabric, as it is permanent!! I actually built it up on my leg then pealed it off. As I found out, it is like having your legs waxed!!  Shocked it hurts!

Been working on making Pirate brands. Here is my first test shot. Make-up is not blended in at the moment. It was just to test if it stuck and could be made-up. What do you think?

Martin it looks good, but how did you make this "P"? And how are you going to "glue" it on your skin...?

Hi

I bought a tub of liquid latex and just dribbled some onto a sheet of grease proof baking paper in the shape of the "p". I let it dry and then added another layer. Once this was dry I carefully peeled it from the paper and then just used a brush to add some more latex to the bottom in order to fix to my arm. Then I will use makeup to blend to my skin and to create a scar look.If you are careful when you remove it from your arm you can re-use it, but to make more is dead easy.

i just dont use a brand. it'd be awesome, but my sleeves are usually covering my arms anyway.. if questioned ( which i havent been) about the lack of brand, i'd probably start mumbling something about the wonders of vitamin E and plastic surgery.
