The devil is in the details

Post  micks75au on Wed Jul 31, 2013 8:14 am

this occured to me only due to an accident But!! It works

Jack has many bruises and marks on his body, when costuming I'm going to guess that you want to include these. But you dont want to worry about them rubbing off on your clothes, other people or sweating them off. The simple answer is hair dye... you mix it and dab it on into where you want it, 20-30 minutes later wash it off and you are set to go. It does scrub and wear off eventually but on the day its one less detail to worry about.

Great tip! But sometimes, you just have to wonder how people discover these things...! Laughing

Yeah, great tip. Thanks for this good information and advice.

Up to now, I used the paint of an ink-pad, which I also use for my tattoo... this stays on for several days, but can also easily be cleaned with soap and water...
